Who or what are the people whom you meet blaming the wrecking on.

It literally comes down to what news they read. if they sit in front of the TV all day then its the russians. but i have met a lot who believe that it was the yanks. I would say more than 50% of the people i have talked to about it think its the yanks

Is this a form of Stockholm syndrome to not blame one's real enemy when one is in their pocket so to speak.

They dont know who the enemy is thats the issue. Theyre not being held as hostages, a pipe blew up that no one has any video footage of so they believe whatever the tv screens tell them.

There are two kinds or economic depression:

1) A deflationary one, where the economy is in the tank because people don't have much money to spend.

2) An inflationary one, where there economy is in the tank because people have plenty of money, but that money no longer buys much.

How about some stagflation.

Expand full comment
Cube Cubis's avatar

well stagflation is essentially inflation of the price of goods but incomes dont keep up with it.

We are tecnically in inflation now but theoretically if there was actual supply of gas and energy we would probably be in deflation now or pretty soon in the future.

we are headed in skewed directions. some things are going to get insanely expensive and some things are going to get insanely cheap.

Manufactured items will get expensive and then will get cheap (because no one is buying them as no money); until there are no things being made. I'm guessing.

The US (and Canada) has big problems. Our society is likely to collapse before Europe's. We have plenty of gas, but it's a global market, so it's being priced beyond the means of many people. No one here seems interested in Nordstream, many can't even pronounce it. No one seems interested that our president SAID HE WILL TAKE IT OUT. Global thermonuclear war is probably the best outcome for the rulers of many countries. Maybe the survivors will fix things.

not only he said it but some lady, who I cant remember the name of, but she is also evil said it.

Not too worried about nuclear war.. I think this is going to be my next topic. I will try to stick to one a week so I dont run out of topics and also dont clog up peoples feeds.

Doesn't do any good to worry about war. It is reasonable to prepare.

Maybe you didn't know this, but "stream" in Nordstream is English and the pipe is therefore controlled by Anglos, just like anyone who has ever touched or thought about Dollars.

Cube Cubis's avatar

Well the pipe is currently being controlled by the fish. There is a gaping 50m hole in NS2.

Dont look too much into the linguistics of it, almost all JVs between countries in europe have an english name. Most large scandinavian firms have english as their company language.

Please explain about the Dollars being Anglo.

Might take a long story or is it self evident.
