I have been very lazy of late. I will need to start writing once a week at least to keep my anger levels down. So much whoops is happening lately that I just got overwhelmed. But the whoops of the German economy is too much to handle.
Living in Germany I can say that things are getting insane. We went for our favourite “cheap” Thai place on the weekend. The dish that I like, crispy duck on vegies and rice was 13.50 Euro last time I went there, which was about 2 months ago. Well lo and behold, on the weekend the price had jumped to 17.50 Euro. Decent price rises but the average folk are not going to be able to pay that.
Then there is the little issue of gas. Well we cannot now negotiate a peace deal with the Ruskies, end the war and turn on the Nord Streams. Nope, they got blow to pieces by some unknown players, erhhemmmm clears throat, the Yanks, that this is no longer an option. Lucky the Yanks are here to sell us LNG at gigantically inflated prices.
Here are some nice clips to watch. Firstly, don´t you just miss the Orange man and all his troooth drops??

Who woulda thunked that buying most of your gas from your supposed enemy would end in the possibility of WW3??
Then you get Sleepy creepy quid pro Joe predicting the future in one of his more cognisant moments:

Whoops.
That explains why Sweden wont release the findings of its investigation into who blew up the pipelines. Why the hell not. Why isn´t Germany furious about this? Why why whoops!!! We all know why. No one needed to investigate it to know that the Yanks did it.
What does this mean for inflation? well literally everything you buy has a significant element of cost associated with energy. If the gas prices go up 10% this is going to have a significant impact on every step of the supply chain. Some of these steps will take far longer to hit the consumer than others.
One example is someone I know in the food industry is now paying over 50% more for his goods than 6 months ago. The issue is that the stuff he is negotiating for now is not going to hit the supermarkets until the start of 2024. This is a disaster. Prices are going to skyrocket.
Winter is going to be bleak, very bleak.
Germany was also scheduled to shut down its nuclear power at the end of the year. But the retarded Greenies have apparently allowed them to keep running until April. WOW thanks a lot lefties. Nuclear is by far the most efficient and cleanest source of power we have. Why is it always that they want to destroy the things that work the best??
Added to this the supply chain breakdowns ( which are actually starting to improve ) and we are looking at peak inflation ( based on the new fake BS inflation numbers ) of at least 20% by the end of next year. I could be wrong, we could go full on Weimar Republic. Let´s see, but the people in charge wanted Germany to fall and they´ve definitely gotten the first few dominoes to start moving.
I just hope all the idiots in charge are quadroupled boostered and all start dying of suddenly…

Keep telling us, no matter what,
here to witness as long as the
wires exist. And longer.
There are two kinds or economic depression:
1) A deflationary one, where the economy is in the tank because people don't have much money to spend.
2) An inflationary one, where there economy is in the tank because people have plenty of money, but that money no longer buys much.
