No wonder I hated the LED lights from the go...my neighbor installed an insecurity light in the driveway and it is absolutely blinding. Shines right into my livingroom all hours of the night. Also worth looking at the various Dark Sky Coalitions....there are many now. These lights prevent bugs from sleeping, so the bugs die too. Its horridly insideous. Thanks for the headsup.
Hmm interesting I have a Nightvision illuminator in the NIR light range will have to mess with using this pointed at myself lol see if I notice anything and warrant buying a NIR unit for the family.

yeah I am not a fan of them. Their colour is just not right... Lucky where I live bugs is not really an issue.

Apparently light between 270 - 300 nm is needed to make Vitamin D. NIR is 700 - 1400 nm so probably wont be helping that much :(
