How about turning it into something positive. The city council should say that's fine Jeff; here are our terms. The bridge is dismantled and then restored to the exact condition whatever the cost which has to be met by Bezos .. plus he has to set up a charity to support entrepreneurs/small businesses for not less than 20 years and to fund it with $50M per year (index linked) and he has to mentor at least 2 aspiring entrepraneurs per year for 20 years or until he retires (which he never will coz egos like him never do)
I can't think of any reasons to like, or dislike, or think about Jeff at all. Hatin on rich people is usually just envy. It's not Jeff's bridge, so I suppose the owners will do what they want with it.
